EV Certified is for fully electric Fords up to 6 years and 80,000 miles, with a 127-point inspection and 8-year/100,000-mile BaseCARE EV warranty covering the high-voltage battery and eDrive transmission. Blue Certified is for any make and model up to 10 years and 150,000 miles, with a 139-point inspection and 90-day/4,000-mile comprehensive warranty.

Yes — through the Blue Certified tier. Blue Certified is the only Ford Blue Advantage tier that accepts competitive makes. Eligible brands include Acura, Audi, BMW, Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Honda, Hyundai, Jeep, Kia, Lexus, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, RAM, Subaru, Toyota, Volkswagen and more. The vehicle must be under 10 years old with fewer than 150,000 miles and must pass the 139-point inspection.
If your Ford Blue Advantage vehicle isn’t the right fit, you can return it within 14 days or 1,000 miles — whichever comes first — and Astro Ford will work with you to find a different Ford Blue Advantage vehicle. The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as sold (excluding normal wear and tear), without a lien or other encumbrance, and the original trade-in is not returned.
