The 2026 Ford F-150 PlatinumT is the premium entry point in the F-150 lineup in America — and for good reason. It strikes the ideal balance between capability, comfort, and value, adding meaningful upgrades over the XL without the premium price of the Lariat. Like the King Ranch, the Platinum's standard engine is the 3.5L EcoBoost V6 (382 hp, 500 lb-ft), with the PowerBoost Hybrid available. The Platinum 700A base equipment group includes everything from the Lariat plus aluminum interior appliques, Platinum badging, and body-color front and rear fascias — all without paying for an equipment group upgrade.
New for 2026: the Platinum Satin Appearance Package ($395) adds brushed-silver satin accents to the grille, hood vents, door handles, exhaust tip, and beltline molding — a factory-custom finish exclusive to Platinum. The Platinum is also now available in 4x2 for the first time, starting at $68,800 MSRP.

The F-150 Platinum comes standard with 20-inch polished aluminum wheels with 275/60R20 all-season tires. Full-size non-matching spare tire is included, mounted under the bed. Alloy wheel upgrades are not available on the XL — aluminum alloy wheels begin with the STX trim. LT265/70R17C all-terrain tires are available as a fleet option (+$495).
Every F-150 Platinum configuration is available in both 4x2 and 4x4. The 4x4 system adds approximately $3,800–$5,000 to the base MSRP depending on configuration. All drivetrains are paired with a 10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission with progressive range select and selectable drive modes: Normal, ECO, Sport, Tow/Haul, Slippery, and Trail.
