The 2026 Ford Mustang Mach-E Select is the value entry to Ford's all-electric SUV lineup. Standard 72 kWh LFP battery delivers 260 mi of EPA-estimated range with a single-motor 264 hp RWD configuration. Step up to eAWD (+$3,000) for 325 hp and dual-motor traction. Every Mach-E includes the 15.5" portrait touchscreen, 10.2" digital cluster, Tesla Supercharger network access, and standard heat pump (NEW 2026) for improved cold-weather efficiency.
The 2026 Mach-E Select includes the 15.5" portrait infotainment touchscreen with Ford SYNC, 10.2" digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, Phone As A Key, Ford Co-Pilot360 (Pre-Collision Assist with AEB, BLIS, Lane-Keeping, Auto High-Beams), one-pedal driving, and one year of Ford Connectivity Package with EV-specific routing. Tesla Supercharger access via NACS adapter is standard.
The 2026 Mustang Mach-E lineup spans $37K-$58K across four trims. Select and Premium are available with RWD or eAWD plus optional Extended Range battery. The performance-focused GT (480 hp / 600 lb-ft) and off-road-capable Rally (480 hp / 700 lb-ft) come standard with eAWD and Extended Range. The Rally adds a 20mm suspension lift and RallySport drive mode for gravel-road capability.

Powertrain & Performance
The 2026 Mach-E offers three drivetrain configurations and two battery sizes. Single-motor RWD (264 hp), dual-motor eAWD (325 hp), and dual-motor performance eAWD (370-480 hp) cover everything from efficient commuting to track-spec performance.
Single-Motor RWD
Standard on Select and Premium RWD. Single permanent magnet AC motor on rear axle. Most efficient configuration. Up to 320 mi range with Extended Range battery.
Dual-Motor eAWD
Optional on Select and Premium. Adds front motor for all-wheel drive. Standard battery: 325 hp / 240 mi. Extended Range battery: 370 hp / 300 mi.
GT eAWD (Performance)
Standard on GT. High-output dual-motor with Brembo front brakes and Ford Performance front seats. 700 lb-ft on Rally. Performance Upgrade adds 100 lb-ft to GT.
72 kWh LFP / 91 kWh NMC
Two batteries: LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) for durability/longevity, NMC (Nickel Manganese Cobalt) for higher energy density. Heat pump standard for cold-weather efficiency.

The Mach-E offers three drivetrain configurations and two battery options. Performance varies dramatically: 260-320 mi range, 264-480 hp, 0-60 in 6.0 to 3.6 seconds.
RWD Configuration
Single-motor rear-wheel drive is the standard configuration on Select and Premium. The most efficient option. Pair with Extended Range battery for 320 miles of range — longest in the lineup.
eAWD Configuration
Dual-motor electronic AWD adds front motor for traction in rain, snow, and slippery conditions. +$3,000 on Select/Premium; standard on GT and Rally.
Performance eAWD (GT/Rally)
High-output dual-motor configuration. GT: 480 hp / 600 lb-ft, 0-60 in 3.6 sec. Rally: 480 hp / 700 lb-ft with 20mm suspension lift and RallySport drive mode. Performance Upgrade available on GT for 700 lb-ft.

Range varies by configuration: Select RWD Std Range: 260 mi, Select eAWD Std Range: 240 mi, Premium RWD Extended Range: 320 mi (longest), Premium eAWD Extended Range: 300 mi, GT: 280 mi, Rally: 255-265 mi. Note: 2026 EPA estimates expected to match 2025 figures (carryover powertrain).
At a DC fast charger (150 kW peak), charges from 10-80% in approximately 35 minutes under ideal conditions. At a Level 2 home charger (240V), full recharge takes about 10-11 hours overnight depending on battery size. The Mach-E has access to Tesla's Supercharger network via included NACS adapter.
The 72 kWh LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) is the Standard Range battery on Select and Premium. More durable for long-term ownership, longer cycle life. The 91 kWh NMC (Nickel Manganese Cobalt) is the Extended Range battery, lighter and more energy-dense, available on Premium and standard on GT and Rally. NMC supports faster 150 kW DC fast charging vs LFP's lower peak rate.
Big change: heat pump now standard across all trims (improves cold-weather range by 10-15%). New California Special Package on GT (+$2,495) with Rave Blue accents and retro styling. New column-mounted shifter frees up center console space. Standard rear door handles. New Sport Appearance Package on Premium with darker styling and Brembo brakes.
