Standard 3.5L EcoBoost V6 produces 400 hp / 480 lb-ft, the available Heavy-Duty Trailer Tow Package handles up to 9,600 lbs, and the Ford Digital Experience with 24" panoramic instrument cluster and 13.2" touchscreen comes standard.
The 2026 Expedition Active comes standard with the 13.2" Ford Digital Experience touchscreen with Google built-in (Maps, Assistant, Play Store), 24" panoramic digital instrument cluster, Ford Co-Pilot360 Active 2.0 with adaptive cruise and lane-centering, integrated trailer brake controller, Pro Trailer Backup Assist, and one year of Ford Connectivity Package. The 3.5L EcoBoost V6 produces 400 hp / 480 lb-ft and pairs with a 10-speed automatic.
The 2026 Expedition is offered in regular and MAX (extended) wheelbases for additional cargo space (Active, Platinum, King Ranch only; Tremor regular WB only). 8-passenger bench seating is standard, with optional 7-passenger captain's chairs. Every Expedition includes the Class IV trailer hitch, integrated brake controller, and Pro Trailer Backup Assist.

Every 2026 Expedition is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.5L EcoBoost V6 mated to a 10-speed automatic. Standard tune produces 400 hp; the High-Output version (Tremor std, Platinum avail) makes 440 hp.

Standard on Active, Platinum, and King Ranch. Twin-turbocharged V6 with direct injection. Pairs with 10-speed automatic and RWD or Intelligent 4WD.
3.5L EcoBoost V6 High-Output
Standard on Tremor. Available on Platinum via Platinum Ultimate ($14,570) or Stealth Performance Package ($7,450). Not available on King Ranch.

Standard Wheelbase
Standard wheelbase Expedition fits typical garages and parking spaces while still seating 8 with full 3-row capability. Available on every trim.
MAX Extended WB
MAX adds 11.7" to the wheelbase for an extra 14.4 cu ft of cargo behind the 3rd row. Same engine, drivetrain, seating — just more room. +$3,000 over standard WB.
Tremor (Regular WB Only)
The Tremor adds skid plates, locking rear differential, raised suspension, front tow hooks, and 33" all-terrain tires. Adds Rock Crawl drive mode. MAX wheelbase NOT available on Tremor.

One engine, two tunes: 3.5L EcoBoost V6 (400 hp / 480 lb-ft, std on Active, Platinum, and King Ranch) and 3.5L EcoBoost V6 High-Output (440 hp / 510 lb-ft, std on Tremor; available on Platinum via Platinum Ultimate or Stealth Performance Pkg). Both pair with the 10-speed automatic. The HO is NOT available on the King Ranch.
Up to 9,600 lbs with the available Heavy-Duty Trailer Tow Package, properly equipped. Standard towing capability is achieved with the integrated trailer brake controller, Pro Trailer Backup Assist, and Class IV hitch receiver, all of which are standard on every Expedition.
The MAX is the extended-wheelbase version, adding 11.7 inches to the overall length and approximately 14.4 cu ft of additional cargo space behind the 3rd row. Same engine, drivetrain, and seating count — just more room. MAX adds $3,000 over standard WB and is available on Active, Platinum, and King Ranch trims. The Tremor is regular WB only.
Both are premium trims with Intelligent 4WD standard, but they're built for different missions. The Tremor ($81,400) is the off-road specialist: HO 440 hp engine, 33" all-terrain tires, 10.6" ground clearance, locking rear diff, skid plates, regular WB only. The King Ranch ($84,060) is the luxury flagship: standard 400 hp engine (HO not available), Del Rio leather, 22-speaker B&O Unleashed audio, 22" Sinister Bronze wheels, adaptive suspension. Choose Tremor for trail capability, King Ranch for refinement.
