The vehicle specifications listed on the tire placard and safety certification labels may be incorrect, including the VIN, capacity weight, seating capacity, front and rear gross axle weight rating (GAWR), tire and rim dimensions, and recommended cold tire pressure. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims" and 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification."

The incorrect tire size, tire pressures, and GAWR listed on the labels can allow the vehicle to be overloaded or have improperly inflated tires, increasing the risk of a crash.

On certain 2023–2025 Ford Bronco four-door SUVs, the left-side rear door may be opened from the inside of the vehicle even when the child safety lock is in the "ON" position. An adjustment to the manufacturing process to improve door flushness shifted the rear-door latch reinforcement bracket location, causing the latch and release lever pivot to interfere. A malfunctioning child safety lock that allows a rear door to be opened unintentionally can increase the risk of injury or ejection to unrestrained rear seat occupants. The recall has been expanded multiple times to cover initial 2023–2024 builds (24S15, ~14,000 vehicles), an expansion of 2,002 additional 2024 four-door builds, and a separate 2025 expansion covering 27,768 four-door SUVs.

A malfunctioning child safety lock that allows a rear door to be opened unintentionally can increase the risk of injury.

Dealers inspect the child safety locks and replace the left rear door latch assembly as necessary, free of charge. The new assembly is installed with sufficient clearance to prevent internal binding or interference. A misaligned radar module may prevent the vehicle from maintaining a safe distance from other vehicles when adaptive cruise control is active.
