See what you qualify for before you shop.
Five minutes, a soft credit inquiry, and a real answer from a finance manager. Your credit score does not move, and nothing obligates you to buy.
Two kinds of credit check, and only one of them costs you
Soft inquiry — what this page does
Visible only to you. Not shown to other lenders, and it has no effect on your credit score no matter how many times it happens. This is what a pre-qualification runs on.
Hard inquiry — the real application
Visible to lenders and carries a small, temporary effect on your score. Required only when you decide to move forward on a specific vehicle, and never submitted without asking you first.
Start your pre-qualification
The optional questions are optional for a reason — answer what you know. More detail means a more useful answer back.
Application received
A finance manager will reach out shortly. If you would rather talk it through now, call (228) 275-3673.
What happens next
01We review it
A finance manager reads your application, not an automated scoring tool. Non-standard income gets routed to lenders who know how to read it.
02We call you
Usually the same business day. You get a straight answer, including what would need to change if today is not the day.
03You shop with a number
Knowing your range before you walk the lot is the whole point. It changes which vehicles you look at and removes the guessing.
04Only then, a full application
When you have picked a vehicle and want to move forward. That step involves a hard inquiry, and we ask you before submitting it.
Questions about pre-qualifying
No, and the difference matters. Pre-qualification is a soft-inquiry estimate based on what you tell us plus a light look at your credit — fast, and free of consequences. Pre-approval is a firmer commitment from a lender that follows a full application and a hard inquiry. Most people should start here and move to the second step once they have chosen a vehicle.
No. A soft inquiry is invisible to other lenders and has no effect on your score, no matter how many you have. Only the full application later on involves a hard inquiry, and that one we will not run without asking you.
Usually the same business day, and often within a couple of hours during business hours. If you submit overnight or on a Sunday, expect a call the next day the sales department is open.
No. Pre-qualifying commits you to nothing. Plenty of people use it to find out where they stand, then come back in a few months with a stronger position — which is a completely reasonable way to use it.
Then this is the right place to start, because you find out privately and at no cost. Several of the lenders we work with are set up for exactly this. Nobody can promise an approval before seeing an application — but you will get an honest read on your options.
A thin file is a different problem from a damaged one, and frequently an easier one to solve. What matters most is documented income and some money down. First-time buyers and younger service members fall into this group constantly.

What lenders weigh besides the score, and what actually changes an approval.

Tips, overtime, 1099, an LES or a benefit letter — what documents each one.
How approval works
Down payment, documents, credit models, trade equity — the four levers.
Comparing buy here, pay here
What that model costs, and whether those payments are building your credit at all.

Pre-qualification uses a soft credit inquiry and does not affect your credit score. Pre-qualification is not a commitment to lend and is not a credit approval. Final approval requires a completed credit application, a hard credit inquiry, and verification of income, residence, and insurance.
Credit approval, annual percentage rate, term, and required down payment are determined by the lender based on creditworthiness, income, the amount financed, and the vehicle selected. Not all applicants will qualify. Rates and terms vary by applicant and are subject to change.
Vehicle availability, pricing, and financing programs are subject to change without notice. See dealer for complete details.
